We can't wait for our last 5th grade field trip to The Junction in Ogden on Tuesday, May 21st! This field trip will also be our 5th grade field day activity.
On the morning of Tuesday, May 21st, the entire 5th grade will be taking the Frontrunner to and from the Roy Station to the Ogden Station and then walking approximately 0.5 miles from the Ogden Station to The Junction complex and back. Students will need to be dropped off at the Roy Frontrunner Station
at 8:30 am that morning and then picked up from the Roy Station
promptly at 2:15 pm.
If you are able to and have not yet done so, please pay a $20 donation to the Q1 front office for your student for this opportunity. If you would like to attend as an adult chaperone, please note that only the students will be allowed to participate in the activities, as per The Ogden Junction's instructions. We are allowed to take 5 adult chaperones per class on the Frontrunner with us. The only cost for adults will be the Frontrunner fee of $3.75, which will also need to be paid to the Q1 front office if selected.
Students will have the option to bring a home lunch or order a sack lunch from school for $2. Please indicate their selection below.
Students will need to bring a pack to carry their lunch and personal items, including a swim suit and towel for the Flowrider. Girls are required to wear one piece swimsuits or a rash guard with fitted board shorts. Boys will want to make sure their board shorts are not too loose either. The simulator uses 100,000 liters of water to create a 20 mph surf wave...it's a lot of fun and we want everyone to have a positive experience!
Please fill out the form below as soon as possible. Also, if your student will be attending, you need to fill out
The Junction's waiver here. It is just one waiver for all of the activities. Thank you always for your support! These kids are amazing and we can't wait to celebrate their hard work together!
