Pre-workshop Survey
This symposium is being organized by the Steering Committee for Synchrotron Earth Science in response to NSF’s announcement that it is seeking the creation of a new organization to oversee the development of analytical instruments for geoscience research at synchrotron light sources.  The workshop will close with a roundtable discussion on the future of to address future opportunities to advanced geomaterials at extreme conditions research at U.S. synchrotron light sources.  To help us prepare for that discussion, please respond to the following survey questions. These will cover a variety of topics, such as, synchrotron usage, availability of resources, type of techniques most commonly used, funding information, and other demographics. Your input is valued regardless of whether you are a current user at U.S. synchrotron facilities.

The survey should take about 15-20 minutes to complete. Your responses are voluntary and will be confidential. Responses will not be identified by individual. All responses will be compiled together and analyzed as a group.
