User Experience is the science of conducting research with end users of digital products (software, websites, mobile apps, connected devices, etc.) and using the insights gained from that research to design products which are as easy to use as possible. The conference is specifically focussed for UX practitioners in the life sciences field and will have a mixture of hands-on interactive sessions in addition to seminar style talks.
The Pistoia Alliance UXLS project is a not-for-profit community enabling UX practitioners to share UX best practices in the life sciences. Find out more about us at https://www.pistoiaalliance.org/projects/uxls/
Conference organisers are looking for sessions with a specific life science focus or sessions which are tackling problems practitioners are encountering in the life sciences. In particular we are looking for submission that focus on Enterprise UX and R&D tools. For example, products and services used by internal colleagues in the life sciences and patients and healthcare practitioners. Other topics related to the life sciences will also be considered e.g. consumer-facing drug/ health products. In addition to seminar style talks we are looking for interactive hands-on activities. You may submit as many sessions as you like.
Submissions will close on the 15th February 2019. Conference speakers will be entitled to a free pass to the conference. For sessions over 45 minutes more than one speaker may obtain a pass. Due to the not-for-profit nature of the conference we do not have a budget to offer expenses to our speakers.
