Community Input: Atascocita Area Park
Harris County Precinct 2 Commissioner Jack Morman recently purchased a 19-acre tract near West Lake Houston Parkway and Will Clayton Parkway to develop a new park. The current park concept includes a passive-recreation theme with a focus on nature including trees, walking trails, nature-themed and open-play areas, restrooms, and a small meeting space. Precinct 2 has allocated $3.2 million for the first phase of construction of the park, and expects it to be complete sometime in 2018.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on how we can make this park perfect for Atascocita! Below is the initial concept for the park and a map showing its location, followed by questions to help us understand what you'd like to see in the area. Be sure to follow our Facebook page "Harris County Precinct 2" or visit www.hcp2.com for updates on this project!
