2026-2027 VGE Request for Legal Absence
Directions: This form is to be completed by parent(s) or legal guardian(s) who wish to have their child excused from school to participate in an educational tour or trip that is not school sponsored. See the "Guidelines for Approval of Educational Tours or Trips" in the Attendance Section of the VGSD Student Handbook for details pertaining to the approval procedure. 
Please note, no trips will be approved during the first two weeks of school, during PSSA state assessment administration periods (April 26-May 7, 2027), and the last two weeks of the school year.
