Postmates Incident and Accident Report
At Postmates, our vibrant community of customers, fleet couriers and merchants are the core of our business. We have designed a comprehensive supplemental insurance plan to ensure the protection of our fleet and the peace of mind of our customers.

In the event your personal insurance does not respond, we offer the following supplemental insurance for our independent contractors.  These coverages come into effect during the period from the time you accept a delivery request until the time the delivery has been completed as logged in the Postmates app:  
 
1. Excess Automobile Liability: $1,000,000 per accident limit for bodily injury and/or property damage to third parties. Coverage is excess of your personal automobile liability insurance policy.
 
2. General Liability: $1,000,000 limit, covering cyclist and pedestrian couriers for third party bodily injuries and/or property damage to third parties.

Please note:
Personal vehicle damage is not covered under the Postmates Protection coverage.
Personal injuries and property damage such as bicycle/phone damage is not covered under the Postmates Protection coverage.

(Coverage limits are subject to change, and coverage determination is determined by the insurance carrier and not Postmates.)
