Join ChamberFest!
Music at the Mission’s ChamberFest is a student chamber music festival designed for gifted young musicians seeking artistic development through an intensive exploration of chamber music repertoire.
Through this program, students will have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers from around the San Francisco Bay Area in small chamber ensembles coached by a faculty of professional and critically acclaimed musicians.
Students are selected by faculty members through a simple audition, and will be grouped into ensembles with their peers according to level of playing and experience. Students will be involved in ten days of intense coaching and masterclasses which will culminate in a performance at Old Mission San Jose showcasing the talents and dedicated work of the festival’s chamber ensembles.
