Yarncentrick 2023 Pop-up Vendor Application
Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at the Yarncentrick 2023 Pop-up!

Yarncentrick celebrates our diverse community of indie dyers, artisans, and small creative businesses.

Maryland is a fiber destination the first weekend in May. In addition to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, there are other fiber events happening in Frederick throughout the weekend.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A NEW LOCATION, indoors, and close to downtown Frederick, Maryland.** 

Close to Route 70.  There is ample free parking, paved sidewalks, and easy access to the building. 
   
Timed entry tickets give attendees 90 minutes to shop. Customers may purchase multiple tickets to shop for longer.

APPLICATION PROCESS 
Yarncentrick showcases curated craftmanship by indie makers from diverse backgrounds. We appreciate small batch production and unique product assortments. We aim to offer a variety of yarn, fiber, notions, and accessories.  If you make or sell something special that is not yarn but is yarn-related, we encourage you to apply.

Applicant submissions are confidential and responses will only be used for jury purposes.

2023 Vendor Booth Fee is $150.
One boxed lunch per booth is included, additional lunches can be pre-ordered for $15. 

APPLICATION DATES
September 1, 2022 - Vendor applications open
October 31, 2022 - Vendor applications close
November 11, 2022 - Application status email notification 

Applicants will be notified of their application status via email by November 11, 2022.  There will be a wait list.

Acceptance:
Upon acceptance, vendors will receive a booth invoice, vendor agreement, and additional paperwork. 

Booth fee is due on receipt.  If payment is not received within five (5) days of the invoice date, the space will be forfeited and offered to a vendor on the waiting list.

All vendors will be listed on the Yarncentrick website and social media channels. 

Vendors will receive social media badges and images to promote Yarncentrick as a participating vendor. Minimum of one social media post in March, April, and May are required.

It's our intention to provide you with support throughout the event. If you need help with pre-planning, accommodations, equipment, etc., we are local to the venue and happy to answer additional questions.

VENUE DETAILS
The venue is a large indoor space.  Access includes steps and ramps for loading and unloading. 

BOOTH SPACES
Thirty (30) vendor spaces available.

Indoor (approximate 10 x 10) - $150
Booths do not have drapes or dividers.
Electricity is available, bring your own extension cords.

Outdoor (mobile vendor) - $150
Outdoor mobile vendors will have level asphalt to park at the entrance of the venue. 

The building has wifi, restrooms, running water, and electricity.  The room is well lit but you may want to bring additional lighting.

POLICIES AND CANCELLATION
COVID Safety: Your safety is important to us. Guidelines are changing rapidly, we will follow local requirements for capacity and masking. Thank you for helping us keep our event safe!

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be made in writing, emailed to yarncentrick@gmail.com
Notice of cancellation must be received by April 10, 2023 and will receive a full refund. 
You may not re-sell your space.
