Call for Panel of Experts                                    2023 GASN Summer Conference          Mental, Emotional and Behavioral Health in Children and Teens
Wednesday, June 14, 2023 - The Georgia Association of School Nurses (GASN) is seeking a panel of experts to speak on the topic of mental, emotional and behavioral health in children and teens at our 2023 Georgia Association of School Nurse Conference in Savannah, Georgia. School Nurses are seeing a rapid increase in the number of students with these concerns in their clinics and want practical tips and resources. It is often the school nurse who is serving as the initial point of contact to identify concerns, determine interventions and link families to resources. It is our hope to connect School Nurses with experts who can assist in removing barriers to learning in order to promote academic and lifelong achievement.  2 1/2 hours will be scheduled for this session and approximately 300-500 school nurses will be in attendance. Presenters must be willing to share resources and/or handouts.
