Schenectady City School District will provide a full-day Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program at each of our eleven elementary schools. Programs will also be offered at community-based organizations.

The Lottery for placement took place on June 1st.

*Because spots are limited and funding for programs is provided to the district by a grant from NYS, students are EXPECTED TO MAINTAIN A 90% OR BETTER ATTENDANCE RATE.
*Any applications for which we are unable to fill requests will automatically be placed on a waitlist and contacted in the event an opening becomes available.
