You may nominate from ten to fifteen - with maximum of twenty students - from your program to be nominated for participation in the Na Koa Ali'i Hawaii All State Marching Band - 2023-2024 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade Tour. We would you like to consider submitting with complete instrumentation (no more than one or two per section) so to aide towards building a reasonable ensemble balance. Nominee must be in good standing in their school music/performing arts program and with their studies (some school days may be missed for rehearsal, performance and/or tour).
Nominees will later receive an official letter of congratulations which describes the scope of the statewide project along with a schedule of informational meetings to be held on each island. At the meeting, a presentation will be given and opportunity to ask questions. The performing student will then be have a ten day period to decide if they would like to proceed with membership in the group.
