Morris District #54 Parents and Guardians (Grades K-8),
Please take a moment to answer the following three questions regarding technology access in the home. This information will help us to support your child during an e-learning emergency day. These e-learning days are designed to avoid interruptions in instruction that occur when school cannot be held due to severe weather conditions. They may also be used when a school must be closed due to "an act of God, or as occasioned by conditions outside the control of the school district which poses a hazardous threat to the health and safety of students".
1. Does your home have internet access?
Yes. We use a desktop or laptop computer.
Yes. We use a Smartphone or Tablet.
No. We cannot access the internet at home.
2. Does your child have access to a device with internet?
Yes. Our child can use our desktop or laptop computer.
Yes. Our child can use a Smartphone or Tablet.
No. We do not let our child use our internet device.
3. If you do not have access to internet at home, do you have an alternate method for accessing the internet?
No. We cannot access the internet.
Yes. We use the library for internet access.
Yes. We access the internet at a friend's house or at another family member's house.
Yes. We go to a local business or restaurant to access the internet.
