The OSDA Board of Directors approved the OSDA's Strategic Plan at their May 2021 meeting.

The OSDA Competition Committee is surveying competitors regarding virtual competitions, as per the Strategic Plan:

Objective 3.3:
“Evaluate virtual competitions and implications for the future.”

Strategy 3.3.1:
“Survey coaches and competitors about virtual competitions.”

Inquiries have been raised about hybrid competitions, where students compete live, with some participating in-person, and others joining virtually, all being judged by the same judge and competing against each other.
Should the OSDA sanction hybrid competition at tournaments? *
If competing in-person at a hybrid tournament, would you have concerns with being live streamed via virtual tournament platforms to those participating virtually? *
