What Writing Center workshop interests you?

Intro to the Writing Center: A 20 minute presentation that introduces students to the benefits of writing tutoring. Includes the Intro to the Learning Commons presentation.
Tutor in a Box: A 50 minute presentation that includes a 20 minute demonstration of a writing tutoring session. Professor must select a student volunteer to participate in the demonstration ahead of time.
Starting Your Research Paper: A 60 minute presentation that demonstrates how students can use writing to begin a research assignment. Professor will need to have reviewed the assignment with the students prior to the workshop
Paraphrasing & APA Format: A 20 minute presentation that breaks down how to paraphrase and provides a brief overview of APA citation format.
