Hello, and thank you for taking time to review the Cyber Threat Intelligence - Capability Maturity Model (CTI-CMM). Your feedback is crucial to ensuring this model is not only technically accurate, but also aligned with the realities of daily operations.
We’ve all struggled at some point with the fragmented nature of the CTI industry, as well as the lack of standards for conducting CTI operations. Your feedback will help ensure the CTI-CMM helps mature the cyber-intelligence ecosystem—for consumers and vendors—as opposed to just adding noise.
We’ve curated a series of questions designed to capture both positive and developmental feedback across a series of dimensions. Our primary areas of concern are as follows:
Clarity of intent - we want to be sure the purpose of creating the model and content regarding its intended use are clear.
Consistency throughout the document - we need to validate that the logic for describing progression from one level of maturity to the next (CTI1 →CTI3) is consistent across all domains.
Practicality and applicability - We want to ensure that the suggested functions for each domain are practical and relevant to the operations of the average intelligence team.
