Legal and Next Steps
The building blocks of effective Montessori education are built from birth through age six. Ensuring that children begin by age three, in a fully implemented Montessori Early Childhood classroom, is essential to the philosophy and the successful outcomes of Montessori education. As a result, we have limited openings that become available after age three as most children begin at three and keep their spot year after year through grade 8.

The next steps:
If you have submitted your application by the priority deadline of January 1, you have paid your application fee, and your child will be three for the upcoming school year - then the next step in the process is that you will receive an email invitation to a Lakeland Montessori Open House. You will receive the email invitation during the school year before your child attends as a three year old. For example, if your child will attend as a three year old in 2019-20, you will receive an invitation to an Open House during 2018-19.

If your child will be four before September 1 of our next school year, or you have missed the priority deadline of January 1- your application has been added to our waitlist/applicant pool. You will be invited to an Open House in the event that we have an opening available before your child enters their Kindergarten year.

Our $100.00 application fee is non-refundable, even if your child is not selected for enrollment. When an opening becomes available, applications will be chosen based on best fit between school and family. Your application is regarded as a formal request for consideration of your son or daughter as a potential student at Lakeland Montessori, and as an authorization to our office to obtain verification of information and the obtaining of a consumer credit report. Lakeland Montessori Schoolhouse welcomes and considers all applications without regard to race, religion, or ethnic or national background.

You are welcome to email us at hmanrow@lakelandmontessori.com with any questions you may have about the application and enrollment process.
