Being a Delegate to General Assembly representing the UU Church of Akron comes with certain responsibilities.  Please indicate your understand the following:

I understand that to be a delegate, I need to be registered for and attend General Assembly (offered only virtually for 2024) and that UUCA provides no monetary contribution toward that registration. *
Should I be chosen as a delegate I understand that I am representing all of the UU Church of Akron Congregation at General Assembly; Both those who share my views and those who do not. *
Should I be chosen as a delegate I understand that I am responsible to do the necessary discernment required to vote my own conscience on all agenda items to be voted on at the General Sessions of GA. *
Should I be chosen as a delegate, and I feel someone is trying to unduly influence how I vote, I understand that I need to report it to the Board of Trustees *
Should I be chosen as a delegate I will review the processes of how the business of GA is run as indicated on the UUA website at  Delegate Information for General Assembly | General Assembly | UUA.org *
