Summer Youth Symphony Camp 2026 - Horizons
Hello!  Below you will find a form which you can fill out to register your student for the 2026 Summer Youth Orchestra Camp sponsored by Southwest Washington Symphony.  The camp takes place June 22-26, 2026 in the Rose Center for the Arts at Lower Columbia College.  

The camp is geared for experienced wind, brass, strings, and percussion musicians in middle school and high school (grades 6-12).  Interested younger students must pass an audition before enrolling.  Scholarships are available to students in need of financial assistance.  Please contact swysa.camp@gmail.com with any questions.  

Schedule 

June 22, 2026

12pm: Registration and Chamber Music Placement

1pm-5pm: Introduction to Conductors and Coaches, sight reading, sectionals,  and large group rehearsal

June 23-26

12pm: Chamber Music rehearsal

1pm-5pm: small group rehearsal, sectionals, and large group rehearsal.

June 26, 2026

5:30pm: Performance
