The BSFA Long lists for 2021 are published below.

Please vote for your selections for the short list. You may select four titles from each category.

You must be a member of the BSFA in order to take part in award nominations and voting. If you don't yet have or can't find your membership number, that's OK, but if you can supply it it makes it easier for us to check your membership status.

Please note that for the purposes of the Awards, a novel must be 40,000 words or over, and short fiction is anything under 40,000 words. Titles nominated in the 'Best Fiction for Younger Readers' category can also be nominated in other categories.

Please do not vote for any titles outside of the long lists. Any vote for a work that is not on the lists below will be discounted.
