Club Sponsors work with communities or corporations to build new clubs. They follow up on leads, advertise the launch meeting, gather potential charter members, arrange for speakers and functionaries at the launch, collect payments, and work with District Leadership to submit charter paperwork to World Headquarters. You may join the club you are sponsoring.
Club Mentors guide and educate newly chartered clubs for a minimum of 6 months. They teach new officers and members how Toastmasters clubs operate, ensure they understand and follow Governing Documents, encourage fun and valuable meetings, and provide, with the help of District Leadership, resources and answers to ensure long term club success. You may join the club you are mentoring.
Club Coaches assist existing clubs with 12 or fewer members to again become a valuable asset to our communities or corporations. Within two years of becoming a club coach, your goal is to assist the club in attaining Distinguished or higher. You do this through membership building and assisting the club members to earn education awards. District Leadership is always available to help with resources and advice. You cannot be a member of the club you are coaching.
