This anonymous survey is being conducted as part of an academic research project examining the contractual relationship between restaurants and customers in takeaway and dine-in transactions.
The purpose of this survey is to understand how customers perceive what they are paying for, the responsibilities of restaurants, the differences between takeaway and dine-in experiences, additional charges, food quality, service, refunds, and the remedies customers expect when a restaurant fails to provide what was promised.
The survey is open to anyone who has experience purchasing food from restaurants. Your responses will be used only for academic analysis and will help us examine whether customers perceive takeaway transactions differently from dine-in transactions and whether different expectations arise from the nature of the transaction.
No personally identifiable information is required. Please answer the questions based on your own experiences and understanding. The survey should take approximately 3–5 minutes to complete.
Thank you for taking the time to participate.
