As we live through unprecedented times, many of us are finding it harder to catch our breath. From the heartbreak and fear generated by political uncertainty to the humanitarian crises and climate catastrophes worldwide, our newsfeeds are filled with events that can leave us feeling numb, overwhelmed, grief-stricken and hopeless.

In recognition of the emotional weight of this moment, we invite you to join us in turning toward what you are feeling, rather than away

In this workshop, we invite participants of all ages and artistic abilities to reflect on their emotional responses to the planetary crisis using the Climate Emotions Wheel, then express these feelings through the creation of mandalas. As we reflect upon what is expressed, we bear witness to what we are experiencing and, in so doing, activate ‘companion emotions’ of courage, love, passion for justice and emergent possibilities.  This is how we cultivate emotional resilience.  All are welcome!
