Every year, FACCC is proud to recognize outstanding faculty from throughout the state at our annual Leadership, Policy & the Profession Conference (former A&P Conference) held this year in Sacramento on February 28 - March 1, 2027. All the award winners will be recognized on Sunday, February 28.

Dean Murakami Advocate of the Year Award. Presented to an outstanding faculty advocate whose work impacts the profession statewide. This year we are seeking full-time faculty nominations.

John Vasconcellos Faculty of the Year Award. Presented to an outstanding faculty member whose leadership at the campus or district level benefits faculty. This year we are seeking part-time faculty nominations.

Emancipation Through Education Award. Presented to an outstanding faculty who demonstrates leadership in advancing diverse voices, perspectives, and cultures of both students and faculty in the quest for social justice and equity. This year we are seeking part-time faculty nominations.

Jonathan Lightman FACCCtivist Award. Presented to an outstanding faculty advocate whose demonstrated commitment to advancing FACCC's agenda goes above and beyond the call of duty. This year we are seeking full-time faculty nominations.
