I am writing in support of Carlos Fernandez and the work he has done through C&P Garage on behalf of Kentucky veterans and U.S. veterans worldwide.
Carlos has helped countless veterans — including myself — navigate the VA claims process successfully and at no charge. His efforts have transformed lives by providing guidance where official systems have failed.
Veterans who turned to Carlos often did so after years of stalled or ignored claims through accredited VSOs. In many cases, they finally saw progress after working with Carlos and his team. This is the real-world impact of veterans helping veterans.
The Commonwealth’s attempt to label his work “consumer fraud” is false and unjust. There are no fees for service — only voluntary donations from grateful veterans. Applying the Consumer Protection Act to free, volunteer work is legally weak and morally wrong.
Shutting down C&P Garage does not protect veterans; it harms them by removing one of the few reliable sources of honest, peer-driven assistance.
I stand by Carlos Fernandez and the mission of C&P Garage. I know this work is real, I know it is free, and I know it changes lives.
