Queen's Medical Students for Healthcare Providers (Staff Form)
WHAT:
Queen's medical students are offering free childcare, pickups/dropoffs, help with errands, etc. to healthcare workers in our local community. We recognize that these additional responsibilities could not have been planned for and are happy to help our colleagues during this challenging and busy time. Please sign up below and we will do our best to connect you with available students in a timely manner. Please note that, while this initiative is organized by Queen's medical students, it is NOT officially affiliated with Queen's.

HOW:
Sign-up below with your contact information, where you are located, and services you would like assistance with. **NOTE**: Due to limited student availability, we will do our best to provide volunteers for requests submitted before Sunday, March 22nd. For staff submitting requests for childcare assistance after this date, we encourage you to contact other groups that may be able to help. Requests for other errands and tasks will be more feasible to support beyond this date.

Our current policies for medical students are the following:
1) This is not officially affiliated with Queen's Medicine and is completely student-run. We're doing our best to help out staff but students assume liability of any assistance they provide.
2) Clerks are unable to volunteer until 14 days have passed since their last day of clinical duties in order to minimize the risk of inadvertent transmission.
3) Students who have traveled outside of Canada or have been in close contact with travelers from outside of Canada will refrain from volunteering.
4) Each student will only volunteer with one family to minimize the risk of transmission.
5) Only students with childcare experience will volunteer to provide childcare.
