If you've ever wanted to be a part of the annual festival of everything geek, here's your chance. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and have a say in how the ConBravo! is run! You'll gain invaluable experience for future job applications and can be trained by industry professionals in marketable skills of your choice.
Responsibilities include: • Create, plan, and assist in the execution of of marketing efforts.• Create reports that track the progress of campaigns and deliver them to key stakeholders.• Reach out to potential sponsors and partners to arrange deals.• Research and report on the trends and developments of other convention's marketing efforts.
Essential Skills: • Exceptional writing and presentation skills.• Familiarity of Facebook Business Manager, Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel, etc.), and MailChimp.• An understanding of Creative Suite. Specifically Photoshop and InDesign, or willing to learn.• Knowledge of basic photography and videography skills, or willing to learn.• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, fun environment.• Ability to take direction and responsibility for projects.• Ability to work under pressure to deadlines and juggle more than one project at a time.
Desirable: • Completely enthralled in geek culture and all it has to offer.• Passionate and knowledgeable about the kind of people we invite as guests.• Experience maintaining and managing your own social media channel.
