Raisin’ Roots Farm 2020 CSA Sign Up
**NEW for 2020: All CSA members are welcome to attend any of our classes and workshops held seasonally at the farm. No ticket purchase necessary for our CSA members, this is complimentary as we value you being here with us at the farm! The workshop schedule can be viewed on our website raisinroots.com under the Workshops & Events tab.**

A share consists of a box of vegetables and culinary herbs every week for 22 weeks running from late May through mid October of 2020. Shares can be picked up each week at either our farm on Fridays or the Larimer County Farmers Market in Old Town on Saturday mornings. We are also partnering with Maxline Brewing to deliver shares weekly to their taproom for pickup on Fridays at College & Drake. Please see below to choose a specific time and location to pick up your share.

The variety in the share changes weekly, as different crops come into and out of season throughout the year. We grow over 60 different crops and varieties, carefully chosen for taste, nutrition, and quality. Everything that we grow is pesticide-free and grown right here at our farm in Fort Collins, located just west of Taft Hill & Vine. We offer the CSA share option to give our neighbors the option to buy our produce at a wholesale price instead of the retail prices found at market. Also, the CSA model allows farmers to have income at an important time of the year when we are ordering seeds, building infrastructure, and improving our tools and production practices.

The share comes to about $22/week and includes several convenient pickup options after our harvest each week. The Friday at the Farm and Saturday at Market pickup options are interchangeable. We will have your share either way at either of those locations for you to pickup on a given week! Questions? Email us at Raisinroots@gmail.com or call us at (443) 863-0677.

A $50 deposit will reserve your 2020 share. We ask for payment in full by May 1st of 2020. You are welcome to pay in full prior to that date, as we have plenty of seeds to order and work to do before Spring arrives :) Check in the mail is most convenient for us. We will confirm with you when we receive it!

We also accept SNAP/EBT benefits and have grant funding to match 50% of the share cost. SNAP recipients can use their EBT card at our Friday stand or at market on Saturday, and can also call to process payment over the phone. Folks paying with this method can pay what you can throughout the year, and we do not need payment in full until later in the season depending on what payment plan works for you.

Interested in applying for a Work/Trade position with us to help on the farm as your form of payment? Details and application on our website raisinroots.com under the Work/Trade Application Page tab.

I agree(by checking box below) to participate in Raisin’ Roots Farm 2020 CSA program. By entering into this agreement, I agree to pay the designated amount of $500 by May 1st, 2020 to Raisin’ Roots Farm. A $50 deposit received within 2 weeks of the date this form is submitted will reserve my spot. In return, Raisin’ Roots Farm will supply the participant with the designated amount of vegetables at the desired pickup sites on the day and location that you have chosen. The share will vary in weight and size depending on the time of the season. I understand that if I do not pick up my share it will be donated to a local charity. I do not expect my share to be saved. If I notify Raisin’ Roots Farm ahead of the time of any week’s pickup via email at raisinroots@gmail.com that I will be missing share pickup that week, then Raisin’ Roots Farm will have an additional 4 items of the farm’s choosing included in the following week’s share. We must receive notice ahead of missing your share pickup to be able to do the larger share on the following week or whenever you get back into town. I also understand that by participating in the Raisin’ Roots Farm CSA program, I share both the bounty and the risks associated with farming which may include poor harvests due to poor weather or pests. I understand that Raisin’ Roots Farm will do their best to provide the fruit and vegetable varieties; however, I also understand that nature ultimately decides what I receive and when I will receive it. Raisin’ Roots Farm will provide our CSA participants with the designated amount of vegetables once a week for 22 weeks starting in late May. Raisin’ Roots Farm guarantees that we will only provide fresh vegetables and fruits that are the highest quality possible. *
