Summer Challenge Kickoff - Cake Decorating Competition

Our June 15th Summer Challenge Kickoff (2-4 pm) will have the vibe of a small county fair, including a Cake and Cupcake Decorating Competition!

The decorating theme is Summer Reading!  What comes to mind when you think of summer reading?  Poolside reading, favorite books, travel in far away lands?

Bake and decorate a cake or a plate of cupcakes to represent your ideas.

Bring your creation to the library on Friday, June 14, 10am-6pm or Saturday, June 15, 10am-1:30pm.  Attendees at the event will vote on which entries best represent the theme and use the best decorating techniques. We'll announce the winners and award prizes at 3pm in between performances by the Bichini Bia Congo Dance  Theater Company.

After the competition, take your goodies home or donate them to a drawing for someone to win!
