Who can participate: Graduate students with teaching experience (TA, instructor, or tutoring experience)
What is this study about? In this study, you will evaluate different tools for configuring AI tutoring agents to match your pedagogical teaching style. This research aims to understand how educators can effectively set up and validate AI teaching systems before deploying them with students.
What will participants do?
- Configure AI tutoring systems using different tools and methods
- Test your AI configuration to ensure it matches your intended teaching approach
- Compare multiple configuration approaches and provide feedback
- Complete surveys about your experience and confidence in each system
- Participate in a brief interview about the configuration process
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate student with teaching experience (TA, instructor, or tutoring experience)
- No specific subject area required - we welcome educators from all disciplines
- Access to a computer with internet connection and microphone
Time commitment: The study session will be virtual (Zoom link will be provided). The study will last about 60-75 minutes.
Compensation: Participants will be compensated $25 for their time and effort upon completion of the user study.
