Babyfur Con® 2024 - September 26 - 30, 2024  - Call For DJs
Are you a DJ? At Babyfur Con®, we'll have a number of events, dances, and pool parties! We're looking for talented DJs to assist with helping provide amazing experiences for our attendees.

DJs, we encourage you to think outside the box and rather than just "I can DJ for you", think of a theme for a dance, maybe team up with a friend or two who also DJ and come up with a cohesive theme for your show that will get people amped to come see you.  If you have an idea, and are not sure if it will work, but want to make sure it doesn’t effect your chances to DJ, feel free to submit several ideas… Or a wild crazy idea as well as just a basic demo set.

What we’re especially looking for is the type of music attendees are always asking for more of. Plus, what fits in with the different spaces and events we have planned. Think of what really “hits you with the littlest feels”. Attitude is important. And while last year we were able to accommodate all of the djs who submitted to play, we may not be able to do that this year, so priority will be given to those who didn’t get to perform last year.

Due Date for Responses:

All submissions are due by 11:59PM GMT-7 (Pacific) on Sunday, May 26th, 2024. HOWEVER, we would much prefer you signup ASAP; we can easily edit the website if something comes up and remove your name if you are unable to attend.

All selected DJs will need to register as regular attendees for the convention (although we encourage you to also volunteer with other departments!)

Our goal is to finalize our of DJ Submissions by Sunday, June 16th, 2024!  We hope to send acceptance emails out by that time.

Controller / Setup you use to DJ.  CDJs might be available for use through the con, this information will be communicated as it becomes available. Please be prepared to bring 10'+ RCAs if you are bringing your own controller to interface them with the sound system.

I understand that by submitting this application, I am designating myself as the lead, and the primary point of contact for this DJ performance. I further understand that if I need to add or change this event, I will need to contact Programming (programming@babyfurcon.com), and may be required to provide justification, which will be approved at the sole discretion of the Babyfur con® Staff.

I further understand that if my schedule changes and I am no longer able to attend the con it is my responsibility to let con staff know.
