This past fall, over 150 people of all ages gathered to clear brush, trim trails, paint fences, and generally get the center ready for the season followed by a cookout. It was a fun community event. We hope to make this year's event even bigger. No experience necessary.

When the air gets cold in the early winter, it's time to fire up the system. We need help with set-up and take-down. Usually about 2 hours per session. Get up-close and hands on with state of the art equipment. 

Are you friendly and do you like people? This may be for you. We want to create a warm and welcoming environment but don't have enough paid staff to do so continuously. Volunteers will welcome visitors from inside the welcome center building during peak hours and answer very simple questions. We can train you but if you're reading this, you probably already know what you need. Flexible timing of, perhaps, a few hours per week.
