Juneteenth Volunteer Sign-up
The Juneteenth Parade on Sat., June 26 is a re-enactment of the "Jubilee of Freemen" Parade held in Pittsburgh on April 26th, 1870 celebrating the ratification of the 15th Amendment granting Black Men the Right to Vote. LWVPGH will march in the parade and staff a voter registration table at Point State Park with our partners at B-PEP for Pittsburgh's 5th Annual Freedom Day.

We have enough volunteers for the voter registration shifts. Please consider walking with us in the parade! We would like to have as many as possible. The parade starts at Freedom Square in the Hill District and continues to Point State Park. Volunteers will receive details by email before the event.
