For the 2018/19 school year, the following eligibility rules apply:- Busing will be provided if your pickup location is in excess of 1 (one) kilometre walking distance to the school of attendance. New for 2018/19, eligibility is only determined from your pickup location.- Eligible Kindergarten to Grade 8 students do not pay bus fees.- Eligible Grade 9 - 12 High School students pay fees as follows: 1 student------$220.00 per year 2 students----$273.00 per year 3 students----$325.00 per year- Bus fees are pro-rated and therefore may be less than the above amounts, depending on the date service begins.
When fees are required, all fees must be paid before the student can ride the bus. If Social Services or a Band Office is paying the bus fees, arrangements must be made with Light of Christ and bus service will not begin until Social Services or the Band Office provides written approval.
Currently we do not have online banking capabilities. Bus Fees must be paid in person using cash or cheque only (we do not have a debit machine and cannot accept credit cards). We also accept cheques sent through the mail.
If you move or no longer require busing, please advise our office at 306-445-6158 or follow the prompts below, so that arrangements can be made to switch bus routes and/or seats can be made available to those on the waiting list.
