150 StartUps is a multi-year Alberta-wide initiative designed to build a more resilient economy and expand Alberta’s entrepreneurial capacity by creating more first-time entrepreneurs from publicly funded colleges, universities, and polytechnics in the province.
 
The Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking is looking to identify a promising first-time student entrepreneur from UCalgary to participate in this skills development program and compete for $50k in cash prizes through the Lean Startup Challenges. The chosen student will also have an opportunity to pitch for $25k at the Most Promising First-Time Entrepreneur Pitch Competition.
