The Marigold Effect is offering
Solidarity Stories Microgrants to support
DC-area photographers, photojournalists, and filmmakers who are highlighting local efforts to reimagine our economy.
Application deadline: August 12, 2026 (EDT). Only one application per person permitted.
We will review applications to confirm eligibility. Up to 26 eligible artists will receive unrestricted $1,000 awards (taxable income), with recipients selected through a random drawing to ensure every eligible applicant has an equal opportunity.
Awards will be made by September 8, 2026, and visual stories will be submitted by November 10, 2026.
