Inclusive Engineering Media Challenge
Attention K-12 Engineering Educators

The ASEE PCEE Division is excited to celebrate the efforts of our members and to promoting inclusion and diversity in engineering. We invite you to share with the world how you engage diverse students in inclusive engineering, and compete to win a $1000 travel award to the 2017 ASEE Annual Conference in Columbus, OH.

OBJECTIVE:
Share or show your best practices and strategies that demonstrate inclusion, educational equity, and diversity in teaching engineering.

FORMAT:
Video, essay, podcast, infographic, blog, photo essay, -- basically any form of media that meets the objective. *

PRIZE:
The winner will receive $1000 for travel expenses to the 2017 Annual ASEE Conference in Columbus, OH. (Paid as a reimbursement from actual receipts.)

The ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition will be held in Columbus, OH June 24 – June 28, 2017. The conference brings together P-12 teachers, administrator and engineering educators from across the country who focus on bringing authentic engineering practices to their classrooms.

Top submissions will be showcased on the PCEE Website and during the Annual Division Meeting in Columbus.

ELIGIBILITY:
The challenge is open to all current PCEE members, including P-12 teachers, student members, professors, program coordinators/directors, etc. If you are not a member find out how to join here: http://precollege.asee.org.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:
Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:59 pm.
