I understand Vancouver ecoVillage (VE) documents events via photos and videos to showcase progress and community connections. This may include participants during sessions. I consent to VE using such media in documentaries, promotions, social media, or other materials to highlight the event's joyful impact. This release is voluntary and irrevocable.

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement
On behalf of all participants (including myself, minors, guardians, and accompanying pets), I agree to the following Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement for the Vancouver ecoVillage therapy dog event.

Parties and Scope: 
This Agreement is entered into by and between each participant (adults, children under guardianship, and their guardians) and Vancouver ecoVillage Society ("VE"), including its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, handlers, dogs, affiliates, and successors (collectively, "Released Parties"). It applies to all VE events/activities organized via www.vanecovillage.com or members, including in-person indoor/outdoor therapy dog sessions.

Acknowledgment of Risks: 
Participants expressly acknowledge and assume all risks, known and unknown, inherent or otherwise, associated with the event, including but not limited to: (i) physical injury, illness, death, or property damage from interactions with therapy dogs, handlers, other participants, equipment, facilities, natural elements, or third parties; (ii) exposure to allergens, bites, scratches, or unpredictable animal behavior; (iii) hazards from negligence, equipment malfunction, or environmental conditions; and (iv) absence of immediate medical aid. These risks cannot be eliminated without fundamentally altering the event's purpose, and participants agree to exercise reasonable care for their safety and that of others.
