K to 3rd Grade
Fridays 2:30-4:30pm
January 9 to March 20, 2026-- (11 sessions)
Cost : $60 - covers healthy snacks and supplies
Venue:  HCCS classroom and the HOPE Garden

Topics: Hydroponics Soil-less Indoor Gardening, Soil composition, mycelium/fungi, plant parts, growing microgreens,  garden planning, seed starting, cooking & food prep sessions, nature arts & crafts and more! 

Due to limited space and high interest in the program, we want to prioritize students who are genuinely excited to participate. If we find that the program may not be the right fit for your child, we’ll let you know and provide a refund if needed.

This is a volunteer run and grant-funded program. Parent volunteers' help is needed to make it successful! Come join the fun!

Roles include facilitating activity stations,  snacks distribution, watching the kids if we go outside to the garden and releasing kids to parents at pickup time.

*Tuition reimbursement available (if needed) to volunteers who can commit for the whole term.

PLEASE CHECK THE DATES THAT YOU CAN VOLUNTEER. AT LEAST ONE VOLUNTEER DAY IS REQUIRED. If you need to change the dates later, you can email us and we will note it. 

Class time is Fridays from 2:30-4:30pm, but you can come a bit later if work commitments do not allow for 2:30pm arrival. Thanks!
