Queer Farmers Circle

Join our brand new NCTFA Queer Farmers Circle, hosted by the incomparable Brittany Hall and Baylee Drown. 

WHO THIS CIRCLE IS FOR

* Anyone who grows food or ag products at any scale, including farm workers, homesteaders and urban gardens AND identifies as queer, LGBTQIA+ or gender queer

(this group is for queer farmers and their families)

WHAT WE SEEK TO ACCOMPLISH

We will build queer community and connection.  We will enjoy each other's company, and good local food.  We will be visible and public in the rural landscape, which has not always been safe for us.   We are queering the countryside and making this space safe for us.

We are gate-openers, not gate-keepers. Come as you are, especially if you are covered in dirt and have poopy boots.

* June 20, 5pm - Queer Farmer Solstice Celebration & Potluck at Beets and Blooms Farm
* August TBD - Potluck at River Crest Farm
* October 12, 5pm- The Shit Show at Long Table Farm
* November 10, 2-5pm- Queer Farmer Zine Making at Massaro Community Farm
