Do you know a woman who deserves to be publicly recognized for her service to the Bucks County community?
Nominations are currently being accepted from the community until February 28, 2019 to be considered for this year’s event. All nominations will be reviewed by the volunteer committee and those selected will be announced on Friday, March 15, 2019. A total of 12 women will be selected in the following categories to be honored at the event: Advocacy & Civic Engagement, Corporate Social Responsibility, Media & Journalism, Women’s Empowerment, Racial Justice, and Community Engagement, and one young women for the #GirlPower award. Nominees must live, work, or volunteer in Bucks County to be considered. Deadline for nominations is February 28, 2019. Your nomination is complete when the following information is received by the YWCA Bucks County. No late nominations will be accepted after the deadline. While we would be honored to recognize every woman who makes a difference in Bucks County, only two women will be selected from each category to be honored at the event. Nominee submissions will be reviewed by the YWCA volunteer selection committee and all honorees will be contacted by March 15, 2019.
