Men's Book Group - Timbrook Library
The purpose of a book group is to not only read and discuss books/genres you are interested in but also to expand your reading options to genres you might not necessarily read on your own. I invite you to be a part of the creation of the first men's book group in the Campbell County Public Library System!

Please answer the below questions in order to 1. choose a recurring date and time to meet monthly at the Timbrook Library, 2. for me to get an idea on the types of genres you enjoy reading. 3. choose a name for the group. For example - the morning group calls themselves Coffee and Comments.

The goal is for the group to decide on a date and time then I will send out a list of 3 book choices for the first meeting. Once decided, I will order them and they will be available for you to pick up in March to read for the first meeting in April. I will also be advertising this group in the libraries to attract more participants. If you know anyone who might be interested send them here!

Please be aware that the library will do its best to always provide the books each month. If a book is chosen that we don't have enough copies of then there could be occasions where group members take turns purchasing a book. We have not have to do this yet and I hope we can avoid it for now. We do have dozens of book group kits with multiple copies and discussion questions as well as access to many great titles in e-format.

Dates and Times that are NOT available: 2nd and 4th Mondays from 7-9 and 3rd Thursdays from 7-8:15.

Your answer
Please check the days of the week that work best for an evening meeting. (You are welcome to choose more than one.)
Please indicate if you have ongoing commitments that reoccur monthly where you could meet on that day if it does not fall on that particular day. (For example - you have a reoccurring meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, but you are available any other Tuesday.)
Your answer
Please check off the times that work best for you. Book discussion would be scheduled for 1 hour. If you prefer meeting at a time that would be outside of our regular operating hours, you are welcome to do so. I would schedule your group for the program room, give the facilitator an access code for the door to that room, and require that the number in attendance monthly be emailed to me for reporting/funding purposes.
Please check off the genres you are most interested in reading.
If you have a suggestion for a name for the group please include it here and I will compile them for a vote at the first meeting.
Your answer
Please indicate which applies to you:
Do you currently use any of the library's E-Reading offerings? Please check off all those that you use.
