Application for Inclusion in the Dare A250 Online Event Calendar

Dare County has created a website to learn about historically important places and events in the Outer Banks as a part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. Each published event will have historical significance and will aid residents and visitors to Dare County in understanding our unique past.

Dare County will highlight their motto, Land of Beginnings, to represent local A250 celebrations. Across our 110 miles of coastline, our challenging geography has presented both obstacles and opportunities for those who strive to succeed, to be better, and to be the “first” as we have moved through history.

If your organization, group, or entity would like to submit an event to be published on the Dare A250 event calendar, this form must be completed. Event calendar submissions will be accepted until December 31, 2026. Please give at least two weeks notice to allow for the Dare A250 Committee to review your submission. If approved, your event will be published on the event calendar located at DareA250.org.
