Chest binders and tucking pants are essential gender affirming wear for many Trans, Gender Diverse, Non-Binary, Sistergirl & Brotherboy people and can be a huge confidence booster that promotes gender euphoria. For many Trans, Gender Diverse, Non-Binary, Sistergirl & Brotherboy people gender affirming items such as these are essential to promoting positive mental health.

Yet gender affirming items are incredibly difficult to access due to high costs, limited availability, and a lack of inclusive retail options. These essential items play a crucial role in helping Trans, Gender Diverse, Non-Binary, Sistergirl & Brotherboy people feel comfortable, affirmed, and safe in their bodies. The lack of affordable, safe, and accessible options contributes to broader health inequities experienced byTrans, Gender Diverse, Non-Binary, Sistergirl & Brotherboy communities and underscores the urgent need for improved access and support.

The Gender Affirming Products Program aims to ensure Trans, Gender Diverse, Non-Binary, Sistergirl & Brotherboy Queenslanders have affordable and safe access to gender affirming items.
