Workshop Proposal for How to Make Math Count

The How to Make Math Count Conference is held each January at Molloy University, bringing together educators from across Long Island and beyond to share practical, engaging strategies that make mathematics meaningful for all students.

We invite you to submit a workshop proposal for the 2027 conference. Proposals are due by May 1, 2026. A committee will thoughtfully evaluate all submissions to ensure a balanced and diverse selection of workshop topics and grade levels.

  • By June 15, 2026, all presenters will be notified whether their proposal has been accepted.
  • By December 15, 2026, accepted presenters will be informed if their session has sufficient participant interest to run at the conference.

Your voice, experience, and ideas help strengthen math instruction and professional learning across our region—thank you for considering sharing your work with colleagues.

Please note:

  • Submit one Workshop Proposal form for each session you would like to present.
  • For co-presented sessions, a maximum of two presenters may be listed per proposal. Additional presenters are welcome to submit a separate proposal for another session.

We look forward to reviewing your proposal and continuing to advance high-quality mathematics education together.
