CERTIFIED HUMAN RESOURCE ASSOCIATE (CHRA)™ is an assessment examination of the basic knowledge in the field of human resource management by the Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (HREAP). The examination is designed to assess the fundamental knowledge that a human resource practitioner must possess.
Coverage: This is a 3-hour examination divided into two (2) sets. SET (1) Recruitment and selection, workplace learning and development, compensation & benefits, performance management, job analysis and design, risk management. SET (2) Labor and HR related laws.
You are qualified to take CHRA if you belong to ANY of the following categories:CATEGORY A. Graduates or graduating students of BSBA Human Resource Management, BS/AB Psychology, Guidance & Counseling, Organizational Management, Behavioral Science, Human Services, Public Administration, Industrial Engineering, Legal Management and Law/Juris Doctor.
CATEGORY B. Graduates of MA Psychology, MBA Major in HR, MPA Major in Personnel Administration, PhD in Business/Commerce, MAEd Major in Guidance and Counseling and Doctor of Business Administration.
CATEGORY C. Any 4-year degree holders with at least one (1) year human resource related work experience.
CATEGORY D. Tertiary faculty members handling HR related subjects/courses.
CATEGORY E. People Managers (Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Department Heads, Team Leaders) with any 4-year degree.
CATEGORY F: Completed the “Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Management (FCHRM)™ from the Philippine HR Institute (PHRI).
