Wayzgoose Kitsap is dedicated to uplifting those using their talents, efforts and resources to make our community a beautiful place to call home. Our mission is to make art more accessible in our community, through creativity, kindness and collaboration.

To this end, we are honored to present the 2nd annual Creative Kitsap Awards. Through this award we hope to amplify the stories, creativity and dedication of those working to promote access to the arts in Kitsap, spread the joy of creativity and connection, and deepen our collective understanding of the power of art to transform lives.

There are SO many people doing amazing work every day who deserve these awards. This year there are 7 award categories. We welcome as many nominations in any category as you would like to submit. Please share as much as you can about your nominees.

🏆 Greatest Impact as an Arts TEACHER – Honoring an educator whose dedication to teaching the arts has inspired creativity, learning, and growth in our community.

🏆 Greatest Contribution to PUBLIC ART – Recognizing an individual or group whose work has enriched Kitsap’s public spaces with art that sparks connection, conversation, and pride.

🏆 Greatest Impact as an Arts PATRON – Celebrating a supporter whose generosity has expanded access to the arts and helped sustain a thriving creative community.

🏆 Exemplary Emerging Artist - Celebrating the talent, efforts and bravery of young artists under 21.

🏆 Business as Arts Champion- Celebrating a business leader whose use of resources expands access to the arts and helps sustain a thriving creative community.

🏆Agency of Impact - Celebrating a local organization whose strategic use of resources creates greater access to arts in our community.

🏆 Exemplary Coalition Building - Celebrating a local project that highlights the value of sustained collaboration, resource sharing, and a shared vision.

Wayzgoose Kitsap will be honoring award recipients as part of our Amplifying Creative Voices fundraising night, Friday, October 16, 2026 at the Roxy Theatre. Join us for an exciting evening of celebrating the ARTS in Kitsap and beyond. Get ready to be inspired by local creatives, connect with like-minded individuals, and support local access to the arts.
