Vex Robotics Competition Judging
Volunteers are needed for upcoming Vex Robotics competitions for elementary school, middle school and high school students! Volunteers are needed on two separate days - you can volunteer for one or both event, as they are separate. The IQ game is for elementary and middle school, and the VRC game is for middle school and high school. Videos below show this year's current game.

VRC Game: https://www.vexrobotics.com/vexedr/competition/vrc-current-game

Judges work in pairs or groups of 3 to interview teams, and will be trained in the process the day of the event. The purpose of judging first and foremost is to validate students' achievements - they are proud of their robot and they work they have done, and want to talk to someone about it - and who better than a real-life engineer! The second is to narrow down the list of teams eligible to each award to a few finalists per judging team - then teams cross-interview each other's teams to determine finalists and award winners. Food and drink will be provided. For those familiar with FIRST, the game and judging will be similar.
