Connect Artfully is connecting with your heart using art.
It is an Intuitive, intentional and creative practice. It will allow you to connect with your emotions on a deeper level and transform negative emotions into positive.
This course is for you if you are feeling overwhelmed or pressure in the hectic world we live in, want to slow down and explore issues you are experiencing, want to become more self-aware and in touch with your feelings and regain a sense of control over your life.
There will be a series of guided meditations based on the chinese elements. During the course, you will produce four pieces of emotion based art. Find inner peace through creativity, rediscover satisfaction and joy in your everyday life and nurture a long-forgotten side of yourself that is essential to wholeness, happiness and personal fulfillment.
Using this "anti-art" technique you can relax and have fun without putting pressure on yourself.
In this course we will explore
what the five Chinese elements have to do with our emotions
How our emotions can affect our physical bodies
Why holding back emotions is detrimental to our health
How expressing emotions can be so freeing and uplifting
Do I need to be creative or a painter?
No, not at all. In fact, the idea is just to let emotions flow through your body into your hand on your canvas / paper.
What materials do I need?
Paper, paintbrush (or sponge or your hands) paints (acrylic or watercolors)
I will give a list of recommendations for those of you who are willing to invest in a few things – but generally, most often we have these materials at home. If not – please don’t worry or feel stressed – where there’s a will there’s a way.
Where will the course take place?
via e-mail and a closed Facebook group that only participants can join
This course is expected to run in the new year 2020 depending on interest.
