Survey for mapping contentious inputs in organic livestock farming
Dear producer,
Organic market is growing fast in the last years, along with the legislation that protects the interests of consumers when purchasing organic products. However, we know that the transition from a conventional farming system to an organic one is not easy, and our responsibility as researchers is to try to find real solutions to the main challenges of implementing and maintaining a 100% organic farm. In this sense, we are addressing you because the only way we have to find out the main problems of organic farming is asking the people who, like you, live that reality every day.

The survey that you are going to read is part of a European Project which involves 13 countries. By answering it, you can contribute to the improvement of knowledge about organic farming around the world. With your help, we will be able to identify the main problems of organic farming and focus our research on finding solutions to them.

We appreciate your help very much and to thank your contribution to the project, we will send you a Certificate of Collaboration. In addition to this, we will offer you the possibility to add a link to your farm website on our project website (https://organic-plus.net/). For this purpose, at the end of the questionnaire we will request your farm's name, e-mail and website address. However, this personal information will be saved separate from the other answers to guarantee the anonymity of the survey. Your contact information will only be used to send you the Certificate and to create the link to your farm's website on our project's website.

The survey will only take you 20 minutes, and we will be collecting surveys until the 28th of February 2019. Your answers are completely confidential and will only be reported in summaries where no individual answers can be identified.

This survey is voluntary, but you can be of great help to our research by taking only a few minutes to share your experiences and opinions about organic livestock production.
