Grandparents are welcome to come join their grandchildren for lunch on Tuesday, March 19 (for children with last names A-L) or Wednesday, March 20th (for children with last names M-Z). The lunch will run from 11:20 - 12:40 PM, so please be sure to arrive at the school between 11:10 and 11:20 am to get connected with your grandchildren.
The lunch will begin with check-in at the front office, getting a visitor sticker, and then meeting your grandchildren in the Main Wasatch Gym. There you will eat lunch together and enjoy visiting and asking each other "what was it like when you were in school?" type questions. You have the option of bringing your own lunches, ordering a complimentary school cafeteria lunch, or ordering a pizza from PAWS. There is no scheduled program and no school or classroom tours allowed, but following lunch the library is open for grandparents to visit with their grandchildren and we will be hosting a Book Fair!
If you cannot attend on the date assigned for your grandchild's last name, but can attend the other date, please come on the date that you can.
Meals: We have 3 different options to choose from.
Option 1: You can bring your own lunch in for you and your grandchildren. This can be home made or store bought.
Option 2: You can pre-order a full size Little Caesars Pizza. We offer Cheese and Pepperoni. For a full size pizza it is $10 and will come with 2 water bottles.
Option 3: You can pre-order a free school lunch. This is for the Grandparents only. The children are welcome to buy school lunch but it is $2 for each lunch (which gets deducted from their school account if they have one set up).
We will have water bottles available for purchase. It is $0.50 for a water bottle.
If you are purchasing pizza, please send in payment by Thursday, March 14th. We accept Venmo, cash, checks and Paypal payments! Cash or checks can be dropped off at the main office by Monday. Please make the checks payable to Wasatch PAWS. For Venmo payments, please pay @Paws4Wasatch and note the child's and grandparents names. For paypal payments, please note the child's and grandparent's names.
